Logan/ Wolverine must travel and protect a mysterious girl
from men who are trying to destroy mutants.
This was one of the best comic book adaptations I have ever
seen since The Dark Knight. It’s entertaining, has a western feel, and has no
holding back for violence. In this X-Men sequel Logan’s ability to heal is weakened
so as much as we seen him endure so much pain it was hard to see him as a weak
and powerless mutant. But it doesn’t stop him from being a badass and he can
still hold his own no matter what. Charles Xavier is another that is having
problem of his own with his mind. He can’t control as much as he used to so he
becomes dangerous without even knowing or trying. It’s tough seeing these two
great people in this situation but it brings drama and layers to our heroes. Hugh
Jackman and Patrick Steward are still great as their characters and so is the
actress who plays Laura. The action was amazing and right in your face with no
holding back. This is the Wolverine film fans really wanted thanks to Deadpool.
It has a more darker and realistic tone to it even though it’s a comic book
film. Overall it’s a must see and a must have when it comes out on blu ray.
Verdict: 9.0.
